My experience ranges through every aspect of the business spending many years as a restaurant manager, and spanning into back office management and leading a diverse management team across four locations.
Job Duties
  • Responsbile for leading management across four locations and 75+ employees.
  • Working with upper management and our accounting team to maintain all accounts, including monthly reporting and accounting to maintain sales tax payments
  • Single-handed completion of biweekly payroll, employee onboarding and benefits administration.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning and Policy Development:

    Collaborate with senior management to develop HR strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.

    Design and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs that promote a positive work environment, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.

    Conduct regular reviews of HR policies and practices to ensure compliance with changing legal requirements and industry standards.

  • Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:

    Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection.

    Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain top talent, including employee referral programs, job fairs, and employer branding initiatives.

    Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, create job descriptions, and establish recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment efforts.

  • Employee Relations and Conflict Resolution:

    Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.

    Conduct investigations into employee complaints or allegations of misconduct, ensuring fair and impartial resolution in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.

    Mediate disputes and facilitate communication between employees and management to promote a positive work environment and mitigate potential conflicts.

  • Training and Development:

    Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance, addressing both technical competencies and soft skills.

    Identify training needs through performance evaluations, skills assessments, and employee feedback, and collaborate with managers to create individual development plans.

    Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and initiatives through feedback, surveys, and performance metrics, making adjustments as needed to meet organizational goals.

  • Compensation and Benefits Administration:

    Manage the design and administration of employee compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, incentive plans, and health and wellness benefits.

    Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation practices and benefits offerings.

    Provide guidance to managers and employees on compensation-related matters, including salary negotiations, promotions, and incentive plans.

  • Compliance and Risk Management:

    Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including EEO, ADA, FMLA, and FLSA.

  • Administrtative Support:
